We Teach Life Skills in What We Call
8 Qualities of a True Magician
Respect
True magicians treat their audience, their props, and fellow performers with care. Students learn to listen, take turns, and show appreciation for others’ performances—because respect is the foundation of every great magician’s reputation.
Wonder
Magic begins with a sense of awe and curiosity. Students learn to see the world through the eyes of their audience, discovering how to inspire amazement and remind others that the world is full of possibility.
Confidence
Confidence helps every magician shine. Students practice introducing themselves proudly, speaking clearly, and performing with excitement. Through repeated “Power Practice” sessions, they build trust in their skills so they can relax, have fun, and share their magic with others.
Focus
Magicians know that attention to detail makes the impossible look easy. Students learn how to stay present, listen carefully to instructions, and keep their minds on the moment—whether they’re learning a trick or performing one.
Kindness
A magician’s goal is to make people smile. Students learn to encourage others, celebrate classmates’ successes, and never spoil a trick for someone else. They discover that kindness is the most magical trait of all.
Practice
Every performance becomes amazing through preparation. Students learn that practice isn’t just repetition—it’s about setting up properly, knowing what comes next, and improving a little each time. Being ready builds confidence and professionalism.
Showmanship
Magic is more than tricks—it’s a performance! Students explore how to use their voice, gestures, and expressions to make every trick exciting. They learn that great magicians tell stories, connect with their audience, and make every moment feel special.
Generosity
Magic is a gift meant to be shared. Students discover that by performing for others, they give joy, laughter, and inspiration. True magicians perform not for applause, but to share happiness and wonder with everyone around them.
The experience of magic is created only by performing for and interacting with other people. By applying these eight key qualities of a true magician, the magic performance will be stronger. More importantly, the same qualities can also build a successful life. Most often in magic, as in life, what you do is not as important as how you do it.
