Children will enjoy making a place card or picture for a grandmother or a favorite uncle at the family celebration.
What you need: White or colored paper folded twice; a marker pen to write their “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Hanukkah” messages; and a stamp pad that is red, green, or blue.
1. Draw an outline (or use a stencil) of a star, a wreath or a bow. Or have the kids draw one!
2. Kids then press their finger or thumb on the stamp pad, then carefully fill the image with their colored fingerprints.
3. With the pen, they write the name of the person and add a message: Happy Hanukkah, Bubbe! Merry Christmas, Uncle Ted.
The result is quite delightful and sure to please a grandfather or aunt.
